A-Level Examination Entry


3A Tutors Ltd specialises in providing private candidate examination entry at A-Level as offered through all the UK’s major examination boards. These examinations are available to all students of all ages and backgrounds including; home-educated, distance-learning and mature students living in the UK and overseas.



Private (external) A-Level candidates are not required to enrol or to attend any classes or tutorials with us to sit their examinations at our centre in Bristol.

All A-Level examinations are available in the May/June examination series. Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) also offer their examinations in the October/November examination series.

The following subjects are currently available as AS-Levels and A-Levels through our centre:

A-Level Coursework Assessment


For A-Level subjects with a coursework component, including English Language, English Language & Literature, English Literature and History; we provide a coursework assessment service (also known as non-examination assessment, or NEA).

​​​​​​​Students simply need to email an electronic copy and post a hard copy of their completed coursework to us together with the necessary authentication form from their tutor before the stipulated deadline. The hard copy is used for marking and submission to the relevant examination board while the electronic copy is used for the necessary anti-plagiarism checks.

How to Register for A-Level Examinations


Registration for A-Level examinations involves the completion of an entry form and the payment of the relevant fee, which can be paid in full at the time of booking or over an extended period through one of our interest-free instalment plans. Centre staff can provide information relating to the payment and examination options that are available as well as help with all aspects of the entry procedure.
