Fast-Track Courses

We recognise that achieving good grades in GCSE Mathematics and English is important to many students. In response to this, we have developed innovative fast-track courses in GCSE Mathematics and IGCSE English Language. These enable students to achieve one or both qualifications in just six months. All examinations are sat at our examination facilities in Bristol in the summer examination series.

GCSE Mathematics

Course Start Date: November 2020 (date & time tbc)
In-College Time Per Week: 2 hours
At-Home Study Per Week: 3-4 hours
Course Duration: 20 weeks
Exam Sat: May/June 2021
Assessment: 3 examinations – no coursework is required

IGCSE English Language

Course Start Date: November 2020 (date & time tbc)
In-College Time Per Week: 2 hours
At-Home Study Per Week: 3-4 hours
Course Duration: 20 weeks
Exam Sat: May/June 2021
Assessment: 2 examinations – no coursework is required

What does a fast-track course involve?

The courses involves attending one 2-hour small-group tutorial at the centre each week combined with 3 or 4 hours of directed home-study each week.

Attendance at one or both of these courses has enabled many students of all ages and backgrounds to achieve good grades. The courses are particularly beneficial to students who wish to retake the qualification, or those needing a specific grade to progress in their career or to secure a place at university.
