Mock Examinations
Mock exams are a great way to prepare for your exams. Our mock exam service is available to everyone, regardless of whether you plan to study or sit an exam with us. We offer comprehensive GCSE, IGCSE and A-Level mock exams in most subjects, for all the major UK based examination boards. They can also be used to provide predicted grades for your UCAS application.
When can I take a mock exam?
Mock examinations are available throughout the year. We have the flexibility to allow you to choose the date that best suits you.
If you are preparing for your 2025 GCSE, IGCSE or A-Level exams, we also offer dedicated mock exam sessions in March and April. During these dedicated periods mock exams are available every weekday at our Bristol exam centre at 9.00 AM and 1.30 PM.
How does it work?
A mock examination involves completing an up-to-date past paper, often a restricted paper only available in-centre, under full examination conditions at our private exam centre in Bristol. Following completion of the mock examination, the paper is professionally marked and students receive an overall grade/mark. Students can also request a written report that summarizes their strengths and weakness, with notes and suggestions on ways to improve moving forward. This report is often invaluable in helping to prepare for the actual examination!
Alternatively, if you are unable to attend our Bristol centre in person you can access past papers from the relevant examination board’s website and complete them at home. These mock papers can then either be posted or emailed to us for assessment. We will mark the papers and prepare a written report if requested.
Mock exams to provide predicted grades for UCAS applications
We understand that many universities require predicted grades as part of their admissions procedure. If you need to provide predicted grades we can help. We can provide predicted grades based on your mock exam performance and our professional judgement. For integrity all mock exams for the purpose of predicted grades must be completed under full examination conditions at our Bristol exam centre.
The predicted grades can be included in your UCAS application by your referee or we can send them directly to your prospective universities.
