Top quality A-Level practical endorsement facilities

Any student undertaking A-Level Biology, Chemistry or Physics must complete practical endorsements. We offer a first-class service for this part of your A-Level with unrivalled facilities and teaching.

We offer A-Level practical endorsements for private candidates in Biology, Chemistry and Physics through all examination boards (AQA, OCR, Pearson Edexcel and Eduqas) at laboratory facilities at the University of Bristol. Completion of the practical endorsement in each subject involves attending at the laboratories for four/five consecutive days, which is 40 hours of in-lab time. During this time, you will complete 12 set practical activities. In advance of attending you are provided with lab books that detail all the practical activities that will be completed.

Demonstrators and tutors are in attendance throughout the four/five days at the university to support to you in acquiring the necessary experimental skills to demonstrate proficiency across all the requirements of the Common Practical Assessment Criteria (CPAC). Students that successfully meet all the CPAC will receive a Pass for the Practical Endorsement.
