Examinations Retakes

Students who have previously completed their GCSE, IGCSE, or A-Level qualifications and want to improve their grade/s can register and retake their examinations with us.

Do you want to retake an exam?

If you have previously completed a GCSE, IGCSE, or A-Level qualifications and didn’t get the grade you wanted you can register to retake your examination at our centre.

Students who completed their GCSE Maths and GCSE English Language examinations in the June examination series and did not achieve the grade they wanted can retake their examinations at our centre in the November examination series. GCSE English Language students can carry forward their previous spoken language endorsement grade.

Students who have completed A-Level subjects that included a coursework component (e.g. English Language, English Language & Literature, English Literature and History) can retake their examinations at our centre and carry forward their previous NEA mark.

A-Level Biology, Chemistry, and Physics students can retake their examinations at our centre and carry forward their practical endorsement pass from a previous exam series.

How to register for exam retakes

Registration for examination retakes involves the completion of an entry form and the payment of the relevant fee.
