We offer an exam retake programme in the Autumn of 2023 and the Summer of 2024, giving you a second chance at exam success. Here we provide all the information you need to organise your retake.

GCSE Exam retake dates Autumn 2023

GCSE Maths and GCSE English Language are both available to re-take in November 2023.

Exams take place between Tuesday 7th November and Monday 13th November 2023.

GCSE English Language students can carry forward their previous spoken language endorsement grade, so they can focus solely on preparing for the two written exams.

Unfortunately, no other GCSE subjects are available in this series. The next opportunity to re-take other GCSEs will be in May/June 2024, as an alternative Cambridge and Edexcel IGCSEs are available in the Autumn. See below for further details.

The entry deadline for November GCSE exams is September 26th 2023.

A Level retakes

Unfortunately, no AQA, OCR, Pearson Edexcel or WJEC Eduqas A-Levels are available in the Autumn. During 2020 and 2021 the awarding bodies offered a special Autumn series due to the cancellation of Summer exams, however this was not continued following the end of the pandemic. All AQA, OCR, Pearson Edexcel and WJEC Eduqas A-Levels will be available to be re-taken at our centre in May/June 2024. Alternatively, see below for details of the Cambridge A-Levels available during the Autumn 2023 exam series.
