Are you looking for a private exam centre to take your exams? When deciding on an exam centre there are many considerations. Location is obviously key, but it is also good to know what the exam rooms are like and how many people will be taking the exams with you. Taking exams can be stressful but knowing the type of room you will be in and the facilities available can help ease some of the worry.
Our exam rooms
Here at 3A Tutors most of our exams, throughout the academic year, take place at our main centre 1a High Street, Staple Hill, Bristol, BS16 5HA.
We have two similar sized exam rooms that accommodate 25 candidates. We also have a computer suite that can accommodate a small number of candidates who require a word processor for their examinations.

The centre has a waiting room for candidates and parents, and there is plenty of unrestricted on-street parking adjacent to the centre. This is especially important on the day of your exam. The last thing you want to worry about is parking!
Larger examination rooms
For our larger examinations we use our nearby overflow venues. These are used in the Summer exam series for the core GCSE and A-Level subjects, such as Maths, English and the Sciences. These are local halls that we have access to and are all a short journey from our main address.
We have three overflow venues that all have large, free to use, car parks for candidates and their families.
Cleve RFC – The Hayfields, Cossham Street, Mangotsfield, Bristol, BS16 9EN
This venue has two exam rooms. The main room can accommodate up to 60 candidates and the smaller room can accommodate 15.
Resound – Blackhorse Road, Emersons Green, Bristol, BS16 9BP
Resound has one large exam room that can accommodate up to 90 candidates.
Hanham Community Centre -118-124 High Street, Hanham, Bristol Avon BS15 3EJ.
This venue has a variety of rooms . These accommodate between 25 and 80 candidates.

Venue locations
All our venues, including our main exam centre, are situated along the local Bristol ring road network for easy access if travelling by car. If you are using public transport, all our venues are also on the major Bristol city bus routes and are a short taxi journey from both Bristol Temple Meads and Bristol Parkway train stations.
All candidates that register with us are informed of the specific venue for their exams in the months prior to their chosen exam series, giving you plenty of time to plan your journey
