A-Level Biology, Chemistry and Physics Examination Entry

3A Tutors Ltd specialises in providing private candidate examination entry (including the practical assessment) for A-Level Biology, Chemistry and Physics. These qualifications are available to all students, including home-educated, distance-learning and mature students living in the UK and overseas.

A-Level Practical Endorsements

We offer Practical Endorsements in Biology, Chemistry and Physics through the AQA examination board at state-of-the-art laboratory facilities we have access to at the University of Bristol. Completion of the Practical Endorsement in each subject involves the student attending at the laboratories for five consecutive days (40 hours of in-lab time) during which they complete 12 set practical activities. In advance of attending all students are provided lab books that detail all practical activities to be undertaken.

Demonstrators and tutors are in attendance throughout the five days at the university to support and assist students in acquiring the necessary experimental skills to demonstrate proficiency across all the requirements of the Common Practical Assessment Criteria (CPAC). Students that successfully meet all of the CPAC will receive a Pass for the Practical Endorsement.

Up to June 2019 99.4% of our A-Level Biology, Chemistry and Physics students achieved a Pass.
